This year I drew a bunch of cute illustrations with the intentions on making printables and crafts to teach my children about Christ’s birth. Unfortunately my great ideas will have to be put on the back burner until next year, because I have simply run out of time.
However, I wanted to share some great FREE resources that I have bookmarked to use with my children this holiday season. I can be the first to admit that I sometimes get too wrapped up in the excitement of Santa coming and all of the fun things that go along with Christmas.
I really want my children to know that the reason why we have Christmas is to celebrate Christ, our Savior’s birth. This year I have had a lot of things happen in my life where I have been able to really develop a deeper relationship with my Savior. I know he lives, I know that he sacrificed himself for me, I know that he loves me unconditionally as well as you, I know that he is mindful of me and only wants me to be happy, to feel loved, and to follow his teachings.
During this Christmas Season I hope that you feel the warmth and love of our Savior, and older brother, Jesus Christ. God bless you all and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
