During the month of July my little girls wanted to learn all about “The Statue of Liberty”. They had so much fun learning fun facts about The Statue of Liberty, how it was made, the story behind the artist whose vision became a lifelong achievement, reading the wonderful book: Naming Liberty, by Jane Yolen, looking at real photographs of The Statue of Liberty, and of course making this cute art project.
You don’t just have to talk about “The Statue of Liberty” during the month of July. You can study this amazing piece of artwork and symbolism of liberty throughout the year.
